Giving a leg up to small Aussie businesses this Christmas

                                                                                              Edible delights Christmas Hamper

Gifts that give in more ways than one

Are you on the lookout for the Christmas gift that keeps giving?

If so, I’m pleased to share how our Ideal Gift Hampers can help you achieve your giving goals this festive season...

Did you know that when you buy an Ideal Gift Hamper, you’re also gifting your support to a number of boutique Australian businesses?

We work with some incredible suppliers who we’ve handpicked for their unique and indulgent artisan products – but also because we really identify with the people behind them and what they’re trying to achieve.

Like Meredith and Jessie of Dough Re Mi, whose beautiful buttery vanilla snowflake shortbread biscuits are sprinkled throughout our Christmas hampers. Handmade, home-baked and lovingly decorated in Wagga Wagga - trust me, there is nothing better than these perfectly baked biscuits.

And not forgetting that you’re also supporting my own small business too. Every hamper sale helps me to progress my business and means that I can be there for my kids at the start and end of the school day – for which, I’m unbelievably grateful.

Giving to those less fortunate

Ideal Gift Hampers is my second small business venture (Feel Better Box being my first). And if you haven’t already guessed - I love gifting and the excitement it brings. Which is why, when you give one of our hampers - we give too.

From the sale of each Ideal Gift Hamper, we give $1 to the Smiles2U charity, which gives care packages to children when they unexpectedly find themselves staying in hospital, along with care packs for their parents and carers.

We also give $1 to the Freedom Hub, a charity which supports survivors of modern day slavery in Sydney.

We’ve been able to donate over $2,000 to these charities so far from Feel Better Box and Ideal Gift Hamper sales – a little gift from us which we hope helps to make a big difference.

The karma of good gift giving

I grew up in the UK and every Christmas you’d find Bugsy Malone on the TV – a late 70’s mock gangster film with an all-star child cast who dish out revenge with custard pie splatter guns.

I loved the film’s closing song, which features the lyrics: “you give a little love and it all comes back to you” – it’s a mantra that has stayed with me when establishing my two gifting businesses.

If you give a little festive love in the form of one of our Christmas gift hampers, I’d love to think that you’ve chosen that gift because you’d actually like to enjoy those gourmet goodies yourself.

And here’s hoping that by giving someone a little Ideal Gift Hamper festive love – it comes back to you in return one day in the form of one of our luxury black gift boxes tied with luxury red ribbon!
